Application
Aluminum nitrate nonahydrate may be used as a starting material to prepare AlF3-coated LiCoO2, which is then used to prepare a blend composite cathode with Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 for Li-ion batteries. The blend composite exhibits improved capacity and capacity retention.
