- Prepared from high-purity calcium salts (typically Calcium Carbonate or Calcium Chloride, analytical grade).
- Diluted in deionized or distilled water.
- Contains no interfering ions above trace levels.

- Clear, colorless aqueous solution
5. Density:
- Approximately equal to water (≈ 1.00 g/mL), slightly variable depending on concentration.

- Usually slightly acidic (≈ 2–3) if stabilized with dilute nitric or hydrochloric acid to prevent precipitation.
