Uses:

Safety and handling
- While Chromium(VI) is highly toxic, trivalent chromium (Chromium(III)) is biologically necessary for humans, though precautions should still be taken when handling the oxide.
- It can cause allergic skin reactions and may cause allergy or asthma symptoms if inhaled.
- Handle with general occupational hygiene measures and store in a dry place in a tightly closed container.
