How to use silver conductive paste
- Preparation: Clean and dry the surface thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease, or residue. Isopropyl alcohol or acetone is recommended for cleaning.
- Mixing: Stir the paste well before use, as the silver particles can settle over time.
- Application: Apply the paste using a fine brush, spatula, or syringe. For complex repairs, use masking tape to protect surrounding areas.
- Drying/Curing: Allow the paste to dry and cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Some pastes are air-drying, while others require heat (from a heat gun or thermostatic oven) to cure properly and achieve maximum conductivity.
- Testing: After curing, use a multimeter to check the continuity of the repaired circuit.
- Sealing (Optional): For added durability, apply a protective coating, such as UV resin, over the repaired area and cure it.
