Description & Overview
This Single Tissue Bath unit is constructed with heavy, transparent plastic walls (8 mm thick) for easy sample observation. The side panels extend downwards to double as a stable stand. The heating control housing is made of white plastic, making it corrosion-proof and electrically insulated.
It features a bottom drain hole with tubing/plug and an overflow pipe at the top edge. A tapered plastic cone in the tank bottom accommodates the soft rubber bung for the glass tissue bath stem, creating a leak-proof joint. Heating is supplied by two cartridge elements near the bottom (totaling 80 watts), with temperature regulated via a front-panel dial ($15\text{–}45^\circ\text{C}$ in $5^\circ\text{C}$ steps). Inside, a metal tube houses a sensitive thermostat sensing bead to keep water temperature within $0.5^\circ\text{C}$ of the set point. Indicator lights show power status and active heating.
